Personally? We never do that here. We also don't brag when a suggestion we make ends up being the solution.

LOL, by no means. I was working with computers when all we had were TTY terminals over leased lines to a mainframe, and when the [then] brand-new PDP 11 came in only the exalted few were allowed to touch it.

Did I say that?

No, I didn't. Your reading comprehension skills leave a lot to be desired.

Obviously. It was a plain statement that required no 'interpretation'.

Do you always seek to 'interpret' things differently from what was actually said? I should think that that would cause you great difficulties in understanding what people are saying to you.

Antagonize you? If you make a habit of trying to 'interpret' other people's statements differently from what they actually said, then it would seem to follow that any antagonization you might feel is likely to be self-induced. If you imagine people saying things that they did not say, then how can they be held responsible for your 'interpretation' being different from what they actually said?

Jealous? Of you?

For what reason? I have yet to see anything to be 'jealous' of, or even envious.

Do you often imagine yourself in such a grandiose manner, as having something or being in a position that other people desire but cannot acquire?

And everyone is supposed to "know" you were using a quote from a movie? You are going to have a rough ride in these fora.
