I recently ran some updates from the App Store on my Macbook Air and am now using High Sierra 10.13.4 and iTunes 12.7.4.

Since I installed the software, iTunes either won't open at all or freezes when it does. I keep my music library on an external drive (WD MyCloud, connected to my router) and I'm wondering if there's a glitch in the new iTunes that prevents it seeing the MyCloud.

I have tried restarting in safe mode and reinstalling both the OS and iTunes. No dice. Have any other Apple users dealt with this since the updates were released? How did you resolve it?
