Updated Win 10 yesterday, and now the notification system is giving me pop-ups again. I right clicked on the message icon at the lower right in order to attempt to re-enable quiet hours, but that option seems to be gone and Cortana cannot find it.

No, I'm looking to just confine the messages to the message center and lose the pop-ups.

All the computers at work constantly nag about updates in the lower right corner despite us being workstations that can't update anyways as IT takes care of it. Hundreds of computers nagging because windows feels the need to nag in the lower right corner. Completely ridiculous they even have nag screens if you ask me.

I wish they'd revert back to the "quiet hours" feature so the messages could be viewed in the sidebar without having the little window pop up. At start-up it gets fairly tedious.

It's this I think. I made a couple of adjustments and all I see it the icon. No notices. That doesn't help the OP, but I have no solution for their problem.

Mine looks different because I have my task bar on the left and vertical. Bottom icon.
