And this is one of the negatives of being too regulated. Folks take the "check the box" approach and no longer consider the 'intent' of these controls.

More than likely - they have fallen victim to their examiners/auditors scrutiny. And decided to go overboard to avoid having findings. Of course, it ends up actually making them more vulnerable. Especially for smaller organizations that don't have funds to really manage these controls.

Personally - with all the MFA systems out there, you can get rid of passwords once and for all by using tokens. But these still don't come free for the solution itself or the implementation of it. And in many cases, the various software banks and healthcare facilities use may not support the same MFA solutions.

I hope you will be connected with your network If yes, then you have to enter IP address on address bar then press enter.
On the right side you can see wireless password change option click on it and reset your password.

He just doesn't know why your password looks like that.
While he seems relatively literate, he has some things to learn.
Judging by his questions, he will be up to speed before too long.

NOTE FOR THE UNINFORMED:
Wireless router passwords can fall victim to new attacks,
such that the old "8 characters" is no longer sufficient.
Upping it to 12 characters with no discernible pattern
is marginal, and you really need to up it to 16 characters.
