Whenever I hear people moaning and groaning about Windows (in this case 10), I suggest to them that they use a different system that will make them more satisfied.
That's not to say everything about Windows 10 is lovable, but I figure most of it is as it is because they're trying to please MILLIONS of people around the world.
I only moan when they switch to a new system and then you can't find where anything is, happens with a lot of things such as emails or Google maps. They change it for themselves not the user.
For Win 10 64bit pro I made shortcut icons for things I use often and put them on my desktop or pinned them to the Quick Accesss bar at the bottom of the screen. Some of the shortcuts on my desktop and icons on my Quick Access bar are for System, Contro Panel, Cmd.exe (a DOS window), This PC, File Explorer, Chrome, Paint, Notepad, Wordpad, Open Office, Photoshop and the other Adobe programs, the weather and my favorite programs and websites. I have disabled most of the apps that gives MS access to my computer and my information. I have even disabled my updates. No more watching Microsoft load hundreds of useless updates on my PC.
A bit OT, but if you have a screen that is wider than it is tall place the taskbar on the side of the screen. Mine is on the left side and I like having the max display vertically.
Windows 10 is actually very much like Windows 7. Windows 8 was the odd duck that needed much massaging to get it to function like 7. I don't think you really need Classic Shell with Win10 - I have it on my home PC with Windows 8.1, but on the PCs at work with Windows 10 the start menu was very much like 7, other than the tile area which I basically ignored.

From what I have seen, Win 10 is very much like Win 7 that has been hacked, and infested with virus and spyware. With a couple hours work, it can be made to work as well as Win 7.
I think someone should write a manual (could be a series of PDF's and MPG's) telling how to fix Win 10.
