I've been using Malwarebytes for the last year and I'm satisfied with it. It's about to expire and I want to renew it. I bought a new Malwarebytes at Walmart and my question is whether I should first remove the current Malwarebytes before installing the new one, or will the new one simply overwrite the old one?

Does it come with a license key? May just need to re-enter the new one.

I opened the box this morning, and to my surprise, the license key is all that was in the box. There was no CD as there was when I bought the first one a year ago. And it was just a matter of entering the new license key. I'm good for another year.

Thanks for replying.

Good, most of those places don’t ship physical media anymore.

Before you renew again (I’m a big fan of Malwarebytes) google around and see if you can find discounted keys (legit ones, not pirated). Sometimes you can get coupon codes for quite a bit off.

That's good to know. I'll keep it in mind. Thanks.
