Last night while accessing my Virtual machine I receive an error like this " The VHD file or directory is corrupted " Can anyone tell how to resolve this issue.? Actually, this VHD file contains my important data

Easiest way is to simply restore it from your backups.

I think someone's trying to be a smart a...
I'm guessing he has none or he wouldn't be here.

If it is seriously corrupted I'm sorry to say... you're screwed.

Only experience I've had is with a user who corrupted a virtual parallels image. I couldn't find a way to recover that one either even after going through Parallels support. Wound up having to create a new one, he lost a fair bit due to no backups as well.
