I have an acer laptop 5750-6493. It's glossy (not antiglare) and it's 15.6 inches, I just want to buy another acer laptop that is higher in screen resolution. I want it to be 1920x1080 instead. Does anyone know what models have these requirements? Acer Aspire 5 is what I have so I would prefer that but if not then other acer laptops. I bought an HP Pavilion with high resolution of what I am looking for but then I noticed the colors weren't as vivid, etc... and it's all because it has anti glare. I looked it up. I hate anti glare. My whole life I've been using glossy and glossy only. So yes, anti glare does affect how it looks. I even did a side by side comparison with the hp one. My laptop is 8 years old. The HP Pavilion I bought that has higher specifications in everything is less than 1 year old and still my laptop looked less pixelated and colors were standing out more. The colors look more washed out. That's the problem with anti glare.

It sounds like you know EXACTLY TO THE T what you want. Not sure why you're even asking for help?!?
You want a new Aspire 5. Go to Acer.com. Click on Aspire 5. Find a model. Click buy. What's the issue here?

The problem is they won't provide me with this information. They only give me the ones they are currently selling which are anti-glare only. Only 2 or 3 of them are glossy but they have low specifications when it comes to the others and they are expensive. So people are paying more for less.
