So you can use a 15.6" laptop on a plane? You fly premium class? You're much more agile than me.

Nope. Coach. Fold it into a tablet as an e-reader and it's a good size. I'm not watching movies on it. And again, they do offer a 13.

Surface Go is a reasonable choice.

If a new in box/refurb Samsung Galaxy Tab S Gold is available that’s a good choice as well. Discontinued but OLED screen, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Enough grunt for typical tasks and great screen for movies.

Now that's either courage, or someone who likes exercize! Do you use it on a coach class seat table? I struggle enough with my small machine.

Yeah, coach. Not an easy thing, but I needed the size for work. Actually, a pain in the patootie. Now it's cell phone and tablet. Laptop stays home.

I have a HP15 for about 3 or 4 years now, less than 300 bucks. I would suggest it's nice compromise between something really small like a surface and full sized laptop.

Lenovo Think Pads....I will NOT buy a computer without a pointing stick for travel use. No mouse ever needed and much, much easier and accurate than a trackpad.

I buy them used for about $300 refurb. Never had any problems. Have several that are still running after eight years.
