True, but their biggest flaw is tech support... And tech support is tech support... So, it still applies...
I'd go with Dell or HP, personally.
I personally have never redeemed a computer warranty or resolved a problem through manufacturer tech support. Not that I haven't had any computer problems but I've found that if I want to resolve the problem I need to google the issue and see what real people had to do to really solve the problem.
Just from a brief glance at the other brand reviews, several of them underperformed in support.
This is true. Most do not seem much better than Acer. Asus had the best support, interestingly enough.
But like I said - Acer has historically been at the bottom. They seem to have gotten better lately. They were 6th on the list of companies at that computer story.

Just found out my computer doesn't have a rear exhaust fan.
That in itself may or may not be a bad thing. Does it have other fans? Just surfing the net and streaming shouldn't heat up your components very much to have to worry about high heat as long as their is some airflow.
I've heard this computer uses a proprietary PSU, which can't be replaced easily.
Should I be worried about the power supply?
