This sounds like a neat idea to me. What I am wondering is if this embedded OS will allow installation of additional software, or if it has the means to update the OS easily. I'd like to learn more about it.

Apparently thats coming in newer versions, like the ability to install firefox addons and such. Updates to the OS come in the form of a BIOS update atm... I have the distinct feeling BIOS updates are going to be done using a package management system using this embedded version - god thats going to be so much nicer.
