What exactly is the point of this post? I take it English isn't your first language as there are misleading, and even nonsense sentences in your post. Take this for example "Hardware-based solutions are typically implemented by using RAID...."
Makes no sense at all, even when you know what RAID is, in order to have a RAID array you obviously need hardware, even using software RAID.
Not bashing you personally, just can't find a purpose to your post.
