-Game is compatible with XP not Vista
-Bought new PC with Vista installed, still want to play game
-Hooked up old XP hard drive externally to new PC, internal hard drive is Vista
-Would like to boot to old XP hard drive on new PC in order to play these games
-Issue 1 - old XP hard drive doesn't have drivers for new PC
-Issue 2 - HP mentioned something about a voided warranty if I format new Vista hard drive and install XP on it

Is this possible, to have 2 hard drives with 2 different OS' hooked up to the same computer and having a choice which one to boot to???

Have you tried creating a virtual system within your computer - and running XP on it? Microsoft has one called Virtual PC.
