hmmm.. Good question, seems microsoft is the most riddled but vista was and is a great effort, as well as windows 7 built upon it to take it to the next level.

I remember 2000 pro excellent but then xp pro came out and improved on memory management, wireless support, networking, media, bluetooth, video, etc...

So the .1 release usually builds upon the core features in the previous versions and makes them more useable, STABLE, NOT ALWAYS THE CASE LOL

I don't know. I'll ask though. I'm guessing 7 since she is on a new computer and wants to keep it simple for a while.


She got the .NET framework problem fixed. It becomes a matter of getting it done without my help. She's pretty darn good at this stuff so I just let her be unless she asks.
