Do you know anyone who happens to have a college ID card? If so, you can usually get access to the education versions. You don't have to be a student but rather be affiliated with a university in some way. I have access to these products at a whole sale price, so if you happen to have an ID card, let me know.
I own my own web design company: www.web4uonline.com. Let me know if you need any help with your project.
I need to purchase Dreamweaver w/ Flash - does anyone know where I can get the best price? I'm not a student, so I can't use that discount.
Yes you can.
Just go to your local college or university, stand outside or anywhere near the bookstore or wherever they sell software, approach a student of choice, offer the student a monetary tip, and have him or her buy it for you.
That's a technique that's been tested, a technique that works.
When you answer keep in mind that anyone reading this might be new or just getting started with the basic principals of web design using tools like Wordpress.org, Joomla or Nvu.
Thanks for all the answers. I have probably about twenty sites I've already built with FP and finially want to switch to Dreamweaver, so I'm not new. I don't want to use notepad because I might as well just continue with FP if that's the case. I've tried sites with templates but prefer to build my own, just want to upgrade. I recently purchased the newest version of Microsoft Office Pro on ebay and it was the student version, no questions asked. I got it fo less than half price, so I'l will keep looking on there and probably just buy it on ebay. Thanks again to everyone for your advice & happy holidays.
Not sure if there is a FP to DW converter....my only problems with any of those are if you use a lot of the special plugins and stuff that aren't compliant across diff browsers. DW is nice though.

Here are a couple of open source/free alternatives. I've used the first just a little (don't do much front end stuff anymore) but maybe worth adding to your arsenal!
