I am probably one of very few that should own a computer, but I do...LOL

Anyways, about 2 months ago, all of my USB ports stopped working.
I hit f-11 and rebooted the whole system, suprisingly, it brought back
one of my usb ports, but the other 6 are still dead.
Did I blow something?
Is it worth buying anything to fix it. Its a Emachines and I bought it in March 05. Im hoping to get another 6 months from it, before I get a new
one.

Go into device manager, right click and uninstall everything under USB Controllers and reboot to let Windows reinstall the drivers, if they still don't work you likely have a hardware problem, you'd have to replace the motherboard to fix that. I would disable the onboard USB in BIOS setup and install a PCI USB card.

Also go to the emachine website, check to see if there are bios and chipset drivers. Download and install.
