I am designing a website for my small business. I have a very basic knowledge of html but am thinking that using an html editor would make the process a little easier and faster. By doing a quick google search it seems there are thousands of editors.

Do any of you guys have a recommendation of a particular editor?

Thanks!

Notepad++ but you need more than just "basic knowledge".

Having said that a little knowledge can go a long way. A text editor forces you to learn the markup which in the end is highly beneficial.

It isn't quite WYSIWYG but that's what I like about it. * Arachnophilia

I prefer the older version of it Arachnophilia 4.0 because it's what I used when I first learned html. It actually helped me to learn.

I started with a word processor, went onto SiteSpinner, and now use Adobe since that is what our web designer uses.
