Make sure that you're "browsing" the appropriate path. First, figure out where the pdf is located (My Documents? Desktop?) Then select the "Upload file" or whatever the site calls it and select the appropriate location of the pdf file on your system.

You shouldn't need to copy and paste. Once you find the file just highlight it and click (apply, okay, upload, copy) the button in the lower right corner of the browser window.

If you are not seeing your file and you are in the right location check "File Types" at the bottom of the browser window. It should be just below the place where the file name goes. If it is set to a specific file type other than pdf your file won't show up in the list. You want it to say "all files" or "*.pdf".

Sometimes working it backwards helps. Open the browser on the web page and notice what folder it opens by default on your computer.

Open your pdf file in the program used to create it, and do a Save As, then save it to the location the browser from the web site defaults to.

And if you're having trouble finding your pdf, use your search function. If you're not sure of the name, wildcard it- *.pdf
