PCs do not like heat. I kept the cover off mine and never had any problem. I bave it a shot of air once every three months. .

I once repaired a computer in the office of a tire company. When I got the case open, the owner came in with an air hose normally used with an impact wrench and used it to blow all the dirt out of the computer. I thought he would break something with the pressure, but all it did was make a lot of noise and blow dirt all the way across the office. I was just hoping the PC would start back up. That was certainly one of my more unusual calls.
