Vista doesn't make a difference. I've seen the occasional odd issue on XP too. You could try reinstalling AVG over itself, doing a repair installation. Then uninstall it afterward. Sometimes that'll fix some file it needs to properly uninstall. If that fails, the best you an do is to disable its services and manually delete its program folder.
