Okay, here is the issue.....

We could connect with no problems, we have not changed anything on the computer and now we cannot. I have disabled my firewall and still can't access it. I have flushed the dns, cache, ssl....etc. I have contacted Apple and they say it is a firewall issue. Like I said I have turned it off and still nothing. I just don't understand since nothing has been done to the computer what could be the issue. I have hooked it up via Ethernet and it acted like it was connecting but stated it couldn't. BTW, I am running Vista. The only thing I could think of is maybe the automatic update might of affected it but wouldn't know what that would be. I am thinking of installing iTunes on my other computer and see if it can access it. I have also uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it on this computer with no success.

If anyone has anything ideas as to what I could try I would appreciate it since my teenager daughter is having withdraws ,

Just do what every other normal person on the internet does, download music for free. Between torrents and Soulseek, you can find anything you want anyways.

Is there anything here that looks promising?

Do you have 64 bit Vista?

i don't think you would be able to automatically download song info and album covers if you did that, because according to the status window in itunes, it connects to the store to retrieve that information.

sure you can do it manually, but that would take forever.

I also have an itunes problem. I can't burn cds anymore. Whenever I try to burn songs I've bought to a cd the cd drive keeps opening when I press burn. I've downloaded the latest version of itunes but I still have the same problem. I'am using Windows XP.

If you use WMP, you can connect to get all the album covers and stuff...it's free too.
