What about EasyCleaner? Does anyone know if it is the first 3 or 4 in the Unneccessary files you check?

What about a spyware?
I'd probably use it as is. If you like, you can hit the analyze button to see what will disappear before you hit Run Cleaner.

When you run CCleaner, it gets a lot of stuff, usually minor stuff, that is lurking in these files. It isn't a sypware cleaner, per se.

It may not be unusual for people to have thousands of temp files and hundreds of cookies, and they are wondering why their computers are running slow...

I've been busy out of town and won't be back for more until tomorrow, but I'm sure others can answer any question you have.

I like the AVG but had to unistall it on one of my computers because it made it run so slow but I guess it don't help that it's already clogged up with alot of crap from 7 yrs of useage.

I got tired of the dreaded message-username taken when signing up for something so I added the extra s and have had no problems since but I do have dimpels.

Well, I've used AVG for years on XP, but then I got this Vista beast and had to learn all over again. I didnt think AVG worked on Vista so I installed the Avast..but since this thread was told AVG will work on Vista. Did you have the trouble with it on Vista or what?
