Not according to the greed that drives the industry, they want us to shell out $$$ every time the fragile plastic media gets scratched. They have used their power to force Microsoft to include many restrictions into their operating system. Vista is bloated with DRM crap.

And do they really think they are going to stop people that want to steal it from stealing it? If it can be played, it can be copied, it only makes things inconvenient for the honest people.
