Just curious if anyone uses one and what your experiences have been, I set one up to play with and see if it might be an option for some of my clients.

I have not used it, but have thought for a long time that this type of system would be a good way to minimize clutter. Post us some links to good resources, please.

I am using it right now on my home netwerk.
I have it installed on a
Celeron Dual Core running @2.0Ghz,
2GB DDR2,
80 GB hard drive,
Zotac mini ITXmotherboard,
Norco 2U rackmount

It is currently guarding about 7 computers on my home network. I know that it may be a little overkill, but I would rather have a lot more protection than not enough.

Also with the reports function, Untangle can tell the sysadmin EVERYTHING that happens on the netwerk. When I say everything, I mean everything, what time the site visited, what ip address visited the site, whether the site was blocked, whether the site was passed, everything, everything, everything.
The only thing that really matters is the setup on the netwerk cards. One has to be setup as the external and the other as the internal.

I was just taking a look at the demonstration (http://blog.untangle.com/content/virtualpipelining/vp.html - broken link). Looks smart.
