I think I saw a CNN Video on Vista 64, but my main browser is Google Chrome because it is WAY FASTER THAN IE AND IT HAS BETTER LINK MANAGEMENT!

I just tried to play a video on IE8 on Vista and it wants to install some Octoshape crap. I've never heard of them and won't be installing anything from them. When I declined the license agreement, the video played. Firefox 3.0.10 didn't ask me to install anything and played the video too.

I have found IE x64 to be about the fastest browser so far, even faster than Chrome

Thanks for the replies guys.

It's nice to know the there *is* a last resort option in Chrome, but I really would prefer not to install it. I'm a Microsoft kind of guy, and like IE, and already have Minefield (Firefox for x64 essentially) installed to no avail.

Keep the ideas comin' please and Thanks!
