Didn't check the whole thread, so I don't know if anyone's mentioned it, but it's worth noting that "needing a CMOS reset" actually is "a motherboard problem." They weren't wrong.

I'm not recommending geek squad or anything, but they were correct...

Well if it was overclocked too much then it was a motherboard problem. Most people that go to Best Buy don't know what overclocking is.
