I play games i have with Steam/Valve.Day of Defeat,Team Fortress 2,etc
I went to load Steam and got this message:
Exception unknown software exception 0xc000000d occurred at location..
0x301a8a62.I re-installed Steam and ran anti-virus scans,etc
Its the only PC games i play and the only thing not working on my PC.
I really dont wanna re-format because it would be a pain.
If anyone has any idea's or experienced this i would be grateful for..
Any info/advice.

What, no Left4Dead? I ain't gonna help ya
Seriuosly, have you tried Steam's support site? If it hasn't been going on for too long maybe try system restore to a point when it worked.

Post a list of what you have in msconfig and we'll help you out with what to disable. You can also temporarilly disable everything just to troubleshoot.

I used the option and then rebooted in that mode of few times.
Steam still has an Error.
I wonder if a windows re-install is the only solution.
I think its possible the registry is messed up causing the issue?
Also my Avira anti-virus wont update and i never had that issue before.
Said it failed to connect to the internet, might be no connection there but...
