Ya know, I already made myself stay away from that sale after I got the email from newegg, your not helping... I'm finding fewer and fewer reasons not to upgrade my 500GB stripped array to a 2TB one.

I was doing some looking the other day for a HD. When I read comments about the various HD's, some say how great they are and that they've never had a problem, while somebody else comes along and says they've had nothing but trouble and they'll never buy that brand, again. I've decided the comments are useless and will buy whatever brand is a good deal.

I'm the same way about the comments. If I run into that type of black/white I'll Google reviews for the item and get (hopefully) a better idea of reliability.

We just bought a Garmin 265WT from NE and I've been having fun playing with it. It, like every other locater (Google, Mapquest, etc.) shows our house to be about 300-400 feet east of where it actually is using the address. I figured out how to put "Home" in using the co-ordinates so it's accurate now.

I put in the addresses for all the hotels we'll be staying in during our upcoming trip. Should be interesting to see if it leads us to them or down the street!

That's about all you can do, there isn't an mfg out there that won't have something fail at one time or another.
