My iMac is only a year old ... I accidently deleted PhotoBooth and Preview, two of my favorite applications. I still have the CD's that came with the computer, can I use those to get the applications back? As far as I know those CD's just reinstall the entire operating system ... I just want the 2 applications. Thanks!

Might try to run the mac update or use the dvd. I think there might be an extras section that will reinstall individual applications.

There's also Pacifist, but I think it's shareware.

If you bought Applecare (every mac owner should)you can call apple for tech help to walk you through the process in a painless manner.

If not.....call anyway but you "might" have to pay for the help but it will be worth it! [Tip: buy Applecare extended warranty from Amazon.com since Apple sell it at full price were Amazon discounts it! ]
