I use both a Macs and PC's at work, but for home use, I've owned nothing but Macs. I'm on my 3rd and I feel it just simplifies everything. I have NEVER had a hardware problem, virus, crash, etc.

It really depends on how you use a computer and how much you use it. Also, how much you want to fool around with problems and how much cash you have to spend on it. Just remember, the initial purchase price is not the only expense to a computer or just about any gadget type product for that matter.

100% in agreement. I always recommend buying at least one level up from the bottom of the line. There is a reason it's cheap...
