I am about to purchase my computer but am seeing where I can use my tape recorder to tape, copying tape to cd on computer.

Is there any specific items I would need to do with my computer, or purchase with my computer to accomplish this?

For basic tape to digital you can just use the audio in/mic jack. There is some hardware and software out there to make it easier, or better quality, but they aren't really needed.
