Someone who is comfortable with computers (me) but not really sure of what programs and software I use, how do I put stuff on the resume? I mean I know word, powerpoint, what about tablet? Is that a software? Outlook/Groupwise?
Also, does one indicate publisher? What about when you are asked in an interview to state your technology knowledge what does an average tech person say? You know the one that is not intimidated by computers but is far from a computer geek?
(no offense, just terms to help one understand the question)
Also go online and check your states Department of Labor and see what they have. NY offers CareerZone and we recommend this program to all our library patrons. It's simple and easy to use. https://www.nycareerzone.org/cz/reso...ker/resume.jsp
