Question Return to previous iTunes program????

Hate the new version iTunes--nine? It is absolutely the worst thing Apple has ever developed! My question: Does anyone know if I can revert to the previous edition, I think 8 -- and how? I hope I'm not stuck with 9, because it is a nightmare, IMHO -- bad layout, horrible screen configuration, search takes too long--just hate everything about it. What were they thinking!?!?! Help me somebody!

You can get older versions of different software at oldapps.com, but they seem to be down at the moment.

Think 9 is bad, wait until 10 comes out .

I recognized that iTunes is crap, and the higher the version number, the crappier it is.

I just had to reinstall it on the wife's laptop (she likes it for some reason) but I have an old download of version 7 that I install. THEN I configure it to never never look at apple's bloatware site for updates.

The bad apple updater tried to sneak Safari in on one of these updates and fubar'ed the system big time.

But go here and download an old (working) version, uninstall the new version and install. http://www.oldapps.com/itunes.php
