Okay,

So I was transferring some files over from one external to my Iomega external when my computer crashed and restarted. After restarting, I can no longer see my external hard drive. I do get the beep when I connect it, and it shows up in device manager. I have tried installing new drivers, but that did not work. Any suggestions ?

Does device manager say it's working? Does it show up in disk manager? If so what's the status?

The device manager says that it is working. It does not show up in disk manager however.

Try uninstalling it in device manager then rebooting.
