Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services

went to this link to try and fix some issues (actually many) that I am having with my Vista computer. Ok so I clicked on several troubleshooting issue to try and get some analysis of my computer. Take for example the first choice:
'Common system maintenance tasks'
then clicked RUN.
Got this error message within 10 seconds once the green countdown line began:

MS Automated troubleshooting services has encountered a Runtime error.
Could not find part of the path
C:\users\AppData\local\temp\MATS-temp\IXPog5t4f33.euu

Does anyone have a clue??? I then clicked on almost all of the following choices under that first one, clicked RUN and (well almost) the same error msg came up!!!

What are the issues that caused you to try and run the troubleshooting to begin with?

I bet those issues are cause this to fail. So let's go right to source!

If you are having so many software issues, why don't you back up your important stuff and then do a F8 restore?

Better yet, pick up a Win7 upgrade DVD, blow out of all of the garbage the OEM preloaded with Vista, and wind up with a clean machine.

Agree as well. Just that the OP needs to back up his/hers files first onto an external drive.
