Building things, puzzles, art, music.

I still do those, but the first two are covered by work and the last by kids.

Before computers (BC), we had to actually talk to people and write letters using paper and pens, and then address them (without URL's) and put postage on them.

BC, if we wanted to look up some kind of information, we had to actually open up a book, with paper pages. Sometimes, we had to go to a building called a library where they had more books to find information we didn't have at home. (This was also BG, Before Google.)

BC, playing Solitaire was done using a deck of cards.

BC, listening to music involved the use of vinyl recording devices played on mechanical turntables with complicated amplification equipment and large speakers.

BC, taking pictures meant using film, which needed to be developed and printed, a process taking several days, before you could even find out if your pictures were any good.
