Ok, as someone who is a proponent of Firefox and Thunderbird, I recently got caught off guard. I had Thunderbird set for automatic updates which I normally do not do because I use a lot of plug-ins on these two applications. Every time there is a major update, there is lag time before many plug-ins catch up. Well, Thunderbird updated and it is like having a completely different program as v3 has some very major changes.
Not really a big fan of tabbed browsing and now, my mail is tabbed as well. My calendar plug-in (Lightning) and enigma mail updated so were only missing for a few days but it is going to take some time getting use to the new layout. I do like the search feature within the client though, very slick.
Anyone else have any kudo's or gripes on this latest update? Also, does anyone recommend any helpful plug-ins and add ons?
