When I open my windows task manager, the following info below is displayed; however, I do not know what it all means. I understand what physical memory means but everything else I do not know.

Can someone briefly explain each of these terms and numbers to me (ie Handles, Kernel Memory, etc). Also, looking at the numbers below, do I need to do anything to my computer such as add anything or free up space?

Physical Memory
Total--777596
Available--252616
System Cache--297630

PF Usage--485MB

Totals
Handles--20356
Threads--576
Processes--58

Commit Charge (K)
Total--594020
Limit--1757588
Peak--821308

Kernel Memory
Total--63556
Paged--46088
Nonpaged--17472

My CPU usage fluctuates from 2% to 100%. Sometimes if I open a webpage my computer makes a weird sound where it sounds like the fan inside starts running really fast and my CPU usages jumps to 100%. What does that mean? How do I prevent it from happening?
