What cities should I be looking at to live in,if I would be working in Danbury/Ridgefield. I am looking for an apartment to rent at no more than 1200/mo. I have a young child and would be needing decent public schools too. Thanks!

Aside from a few neighborhoods (more like streets) in Danbury, there's not too much wrong in the Danbury area.

If you can afford Ridgefield, can't go wrong. Bethel, Brookfield, New Fairfield - can't hurt looking in either one. (NF is the smaller/quieter of the three there). Danbury is one of the better small cities I have been to. Some might complain about the high immigrant population, but I don't have as much a problem. Most of them in Danbury just want to live and work peacefully.

People don't complain about immigrants, they complain about the illegal immigrants.
