It's about 2 minutes from exit 4 on I-84. There's a lot of shopping about 5 minutes away along Mill Plain Road. Almost all homes in that neighborhood sit on about .2 acres and were built in late early 1920s. I can't say if it is a safe neighborhood, try to drive the area at different times at different days to see if it is the right area for you.

That area may be zoned for the Mill Ridge School which is not desireable

According to the city's school district website, the house on Well Ave is zoned for the Morris Street Elemantary School.

Mill Ridge area isn't that great. Well Ave. is on the other side of 84, closer to downtown.

Mill Plain is well further to the west, near Exit 2.

Aren't they right next to each other? If you take the left on Mill Plain across from the McDonalds by the adult video store and Dunkin Donuts and go up the hill isn't Mill Ridge right there?

Yeah, Mill Ridge is up there.

Mill Plain doesn't start until where the CVS is. I consider that area going from about Kenosia Ave. westward towards Old Ridgebury.

Mill Ridge does cover a large area of Danbury. It covers the area around Lake Kenosia, up around Old Ridgebury Road, up to about the Richter Golf Course (Aunt Hack area of Danbury), most of the Long Ridge Area (including the Old Lantern neighborhood & Lake Waubeeka), down Lake Avenue until about Merrimac Street (includes that neighborhood), as well the Miry Brook area of Danbury behind the airport. You can check on the school districts website.

The city is just closed the Mill Ridge Intermediate School & will be sending the 4th & 5th grade students up to King Street Intermediate School. They will be adding the 3rd grade to the Mill Ridge Primary school. The school district will use the space now as a Head Start and for the entire school district special education program starting in the fall. Sometime down the right, the district said they might use possibly use the facility for a middle school.
