Me and 4 others are going to the max creek concert and they don't want to stay at a hotel. Where is there a campground or hostel to stay nearby? We have ck'd all over and can't find anything close to East Hartford, where the concert is being held. Pls help.

There isn't much camping nearby because that is a more urban/suburban area directly adjacent to the capital city. Not exactly prime camping area. Any state park where you can camp will be a bit of a drive. The only recommendation I have is a campground about 30 miles away where my coworker camps regularly, though I can't personally vouch for it. It's called Wolf's Den in East Haddam.

Wolf's Den Family Campground

Sorry, I don't know of any local hostels.

There is a camp ground in East Hampton called Nelson's. It is pretty good. Also Odetha in Bozrah which is very nice. I knnow there are others in the Colchester area but I don't know much about them. Jay
