Ernie Newton, the flamboyant convicted politician from Bridgeport, has been released from prison.

It's wonderful to see that he has been humbled after his 4 years of incarceration.--------"There are no available seats now," he said. "I don't want to talk about anything political now. But if you're asking me if I'd win if I ran again, you all know the answer to that. ... The support is there."

Yeah.. what a cool guy. "Muslim" headgear and everything. A true, selfless patriot... only concerned about his city and its citizens.
Good God. Bridgeport really is a lost cause. The ghetto spawn there will probably re-elect him

I just love it when people see something on the board and then just assume that they understand the context of the posting.

Hop out of that Michigan lake, because you're all wet right now.

I wonder if he had enough free time in prison to learn English.

Ernie Newton... oh god. To be fair though he's going up against Ayala and Gomez. I've read a lot of what Ayala has said in the papers, seems bright actually.

I perceived it to be a drive-by racial rant by that individual.

What he said seems to be true, though.

Newton seems like just the sort of politician who does well in Bridgeport, and I doubt the criminal convictions mean a thing.

I have to congratulate the people of Bridgeport. They told Ernie to go pound sand.
