Red face Want to build a house in Manchester

I'm trying to find out what it would cost, per square foot, to build a house in Manchester. Of Course it would have to be a ball park figure but that's OK. Anyone have any idea?

That can depend on a lot. Ballpark IMO is going to be from a low of $80 per square foot to $150 per SF depending on what you want inside. (Flooring, counter tops, cabinets etc) I havn't checked the "rates" in a while so I may be off, but that's what they were a few years ago.

That doesn't include land...BUT I'll sell you a secluded 3/4-1 acre lot in one of the nicest areas of Manchester, butt against a few miles of MDC woods in a dead end small neighborhood, on the Bolton line if you're interested.

I have looked into building and found that for even a modest home it will cost from $100 to $175 per square foot. It really depends upon what you are looking for. A 2800 s.f. nice colonial with 2 car garage will be around $400k excluding the lot. You might consider talking to a builder in the area and see what they are quoting. Good luck, Jay
