Haha, no problem. Wasn't the speed of the download it was the size.

Most computer resolutions are like 1920 x 1080 so anything larger isn't necessary unless the screen is like 30" or something.. Especially if one is using their smart phone to view the thread. But I see you adjusted it, cool.

Yet another May day with the stove on. Outside temp hovering 50° like its November.

Actually lit it twice today because its not cold enough to just keep feeding it so I let it die out... Using small pieces enough to get the rooms comfy.

" " is right. Usually once each May I'll have to light it for an hour at most, NOT more than 4 times and few hours at a time!

Take a look at the Average temp so far this month. Danbury records only back to 1998 but notice, its the coldest 1st half of May since 2005! Same for Hartford as well. No wonder why this feels weird lighting the stove so much in May!

You have to go back to 1978 before 2005 to find such a cold 1st half of May

Again this morning......

October 13, 2017. Low of 47°F this morning. Coldest of the season.

Just getting the wood stove ready. Haven't lit it yet. Haven't needed heat inside but I think Tuesday coming up will be the day to do it. We'll see.

1st Lights/Heat needed of season.

Its gotta be in the 30's before I light my stove. Based on the forecast, I won't be lighting it anytime soon.

Why does it have to be 30s? What if there's no sun during the day and staying in the 60s with wind? Wouldn't it be chilly inside by evening? Or sun and 50s during the day. Or windows and doors open for too long?

I used to think it was just the lows too but then I realized during the day matters just as much.
