Density isn't there nor will there ever be enough....+ its very expensive to build a LRT line which is just a higher capacity Busway. CT cannot support a LRT line.....only streetcars and Busways....in the transit dept.

Salt Lake City's tramline brings people from SLC suburbs like Sandy in to a congested downtown area where there is employment, shopping, dining and entertainment. Among the biggest consumers are University of Utah students. I've been to SLC 6x this year and used their Trax system. While I found it efficient and easy to ride it was mostly empty during the day.

Don't think it would work here. It took the winter olympics for SLC to build trax. Doubt the games are coming here anytime soon.

Um I was in Salt Lake they built more rails you know, though not open in some parts of the area like West Valley. Yet we have more people here that would use a rail and these trains were not crowded when I was there in Salt Lake City. Connecticut got higher population than Utah as well. So I believe the population going to keep growing in CT in the future.

And I'm sure in some point in history some Conneticut citys had streetcar in the past.

Your cities are planning to bring Trams back , suburbs will not get them. There to expensive and wouldn't get the ridership that the cities would. Each state & city is different.....the Northeastern States has different standards for projects then Utah. A Busway / Rail project suits this area best ,as you can see in the video...they explained the reasons behind it.
