Guilford, Madison and Branford are suburbs of New Haven with Madison being the most upscale (considered one of New Haven's top suburbs) followed by Guilford and then Branford. These are larger suburban towns with a range of housing options. Branford has a lot of condominiums and apartments, while Madison has few. They are all considered to be very nice with good schools and excellent activities for families.
Clinton and Westbrook are small towns with somewhat more limited offerings in schools and activities. Jay
