We have the remnants (maybe 25%) of a stone wall in the front yard and want to get rid of it completely. Who would you contact for such a thing? Maybe one of those junk removal people? Someone suggested a mason since some of the stones may be useful. Any suggestions/recommendations are appreciated.

Is this nice, flat field stone or round and irregular shaped stone? The reason I ask is that you can sell the field stone to some landscapers/stone wall builders for a pretty nice buck. Good field stone is hard to come by.

I am not sure where you are located but many landscapers look for these types of stone walls for future projects. I would call a couple in your area and see if they are interested in BUYING it. There is a big market for stone walls particularly if they are attractive. I owul dnot expect a lot of money for it but you should be able to get something. Jay

Post it as what? Are you saying someone might actually want it?
