re: rights for everyone:

Convicted confessed, unrepentant murderers and rapists gave up their rights and freedoms the moment they were convicted. If we brought back stoning, the gallows, the guillotine, nailing people to the cross, or dragging tied up criminals behind a running horse, it wouldn't bother me for even a moment. I wouldn't watch - because watching a criminal die is just as distasteful to me as watching a criminal kill his victim. But - he should've thought about that before he killed his victim.

Break the law: give up your rights.

I take it you'd like to see the Eighth Amendment repealed, then.

I would favor it's repeal. Specifically if the criminal uses cruel and unusual tactics on his victims he should get the same in return from the state.

I don't consider punishing confessed, unrepentant convicted murderers and rapists, proven via eye-witness, DNA, and other obviously damning evidence, in any way anyone feels like punishing them, as cruel or unusual. In other words, I feel that Jeffrey Dahmer got off easy. I also think incarcerating Charles Manson with no parole for life, was a waste of money. He should've been skinned alive, had whiskey poured over his open flesh, and made to beg for death.

No, it's the violent criminals themselves who are scary. If you had the choice of AnonChick or a murderer walking behind you in a dark alley you would choose AnonChick. Not only wouldn't she harm you, she wants to punish those who would.

I think you'll find that "confessed, unrepentant" murderers and rapists -- who are already a rare bird indeed -- become very rare once you institute this policy. Of course, the murder/rape rate won't come down; they just will (a) stop confessing and (b) learn to act repentant.

I have to ask: what would this fantasy accomplish? To make you feel good about yourself, or to give Jay F a "good feeling"? To scare other potential Mansons (good luck with that)? To take vengeance by proxy on someone from your past? To make you a little bit more like Manson?

I think a simple execution is not fair for this wonderful creature.

He should be given the same treatment his victims received.
Tortured by some fun prisoners for a few days, raped and otherwise perversely abused by them, then tied to a bed, gas poured around the room and light him up.

Prison is a walk in the park with their homies for a lot of these scum. This creature deserves speshul treatment.

Repeat after me... correlation does not equal causation. Let's do a thought experiment. Connecticut has fairly forgiving laws on punishment. Louisiana has harsh. Which has the higher rate?
