Up or on the rocks is gay on Sunday nights in Hartford.

The first Sunday at Tisane in Hartford is really a good spot. It's ladies night and it starts around 6pm, but I recommend not getting there before 8pm. Otherwise, Tisane has a gay night every Tuesday but is mostly dudes. If you go there often enough you will realize, its gay-friendly everyday.

Polo on Friday nights is decent in Hartford, younger crowd too.

Chez is good for women on the Third Saturday of the month (I believe).

Partners is mostly women on one Saturday of the month (may be the last or third), otherwise Saturdays are better than Fridays nights which is mostly dudes.

I haven't been to Gotham in New Haven but they do have a gay night, at some point.

Friday night in New Haven there is a bar on center st. that is gay. According to google maps it is called Equinox, but I believe the name may have changed to something else.

There is a bar in meriden or rocky hill and I can't think of the name of it. But, the above list is definitely a good start. Enjoy!

Sunday at Tisane is usually full of regulars...not sure if you're looking to meet people but it'll be tough there. You might look for events for young people at Trinity (glbt film festival) or Uhart (art shows) rather than trying Tisane. If you're going in a group tho Tisane can be fun. ditto on getting there early as they have extremely limited parking and it isn't the best neighborhood for parking too far away IMHO. If you like art shows you might also want to try Real Artways.

You should look in Northampton, MA. It is the lesbian capital of the world. There are lesbians walking around holding hands everywhere. There is a club called Diva's, there.

Don't be discouraged with Tisane, I've definitely met people there before...but try first Sundays just to get a feel for the CT potentials.

Northampton is nice, but its a hike!

I recommend third Thursdays for Real Art Ways..its called creative cocktail hour.

The trinity film festival is really good! But, it only happens once (maybe twice) a year..definitely check it out when it happens.
