Stamford: storm appears to have stopped. Glowing horizon is over Long Island Sound. Only about 8"-10" on the ground here.

need to get pictures but here in bethel we are close to if not at 23+ inches.
i shoveled potty paths and it comes to my knees (thats in areas it had already been cleared from last time so its all new snow fall...) and i THOUGHT it had stopped...but right now its lightly snowing again, seems to be comming in waves we had nothing at 8:30 then about 15 mins ago it was realy light, now it seems to be picking up in speed...tiny flakes though.
im not expecting any additional accumulation with this light snow, but it is still snowing and we definatly beat the estimated 15 inches LOL.

wunderground and TWC is saying light snow probable untill 4pm and another 2-4" before its done for 06801!

They should, it's not like y'all live Atlanta. I'm checking TWC and I hope that everyone stays safe up there.

This is just crazy. Here is one of our dog trails. I couldn't get our puppy to keep still for a picture, this is our old dog, and he's a pretty big dog. The snow is over his head. We definitely got over 20" of snow this time around.

God bless you for shoveling those trails. Artie had to make his own, with his body on short legs. He pretty much made TUNNELS.

He finally pooped in the back yard -- a miracle in and of itself because he never dirties his yard. I tracked all the way to the furthest point to clean it up and the snow was up past my knees. I have short legs but STILL...!
